Storm

We had our first big storm.
My children ended up with an upside down playhouse
and the fence was a little bit damaged,
other than that things were okay.

When I took my children to school the next day,
I saw some pretty branches that came off the trees.
I tried to ignore them, because I try to be civilized.
I have a feeling that civilized people don't collect things from the street.
But then my daughter said: "Mom, look! Shall we take them?"
And we took them, because I did not want to disappoint her..

I sprayed them a little with snow spray,
 put them in a vase
and added led lights.
Beauty does not have to be expensive!

We hebben onze eerste grote storm gehad.
Mijn kinderen hadden even een ondersteboven speelhuis

Groetjes Mirjam
That's beautiful. I love how you see the beauty in normal everyday things, Mirjam.

Thank you, I'm glad my daughter was there, so I could act like it was totally normal, to gather stuff in front of the school..
How beautiful and creative! And funny because I recently collected branches off of the street to make a "thankful tree." I will post about it soon. Great minds think alike ;)

Thank you Jessica! I was very happy with the result, when I took them, I had no idea what I was going to do with them.
Looks very pretty. Great photos too.
